yesterday: clicked the mouse  a bunch of times
today: ate a cookie.

I've been sick so I haven't been doing my walkies like I should.

Good job! I've been so good on working out until last Monday, a week ago, when I pulled a muscle in my leg. Now I'm still trying to just feel comfortable walking, so I haven't tried doing the elliptical or anything yet. I was going to try doing the treadmill yesterday, just walking, but ended up going home before everything froze over again instead. Today's a busy day, full of meetings about the show this weekend. So I guess that leaves it till tomorrow, and perhaps it's just as well, because that gives me a couple more days of healing. Hopefully it'll be all better by tomorrow--or at least better enough that extending my leg beyond a short pace or bending to tie my shoes doesn't hurt.

Is a Wii like DDR or something?

* SaintEhlers holds Stacer in contempt of geekness.

The Wii is Nintendo's newest game system. It's the one with the remote that you hold and move around to play rather than just mash buttons on.

you're kidding right?  The Wii was the top news story for the holiday, you'd have to live in a cave not to know about it.  It's been huge because it's popular with everyone, espeically non-gamers and adults.  My mom loves it and so do my sisters.

I knew the Wii was a new game system. I don't live in THAT deep a cave. I've just never seen it, and didn't know it had a moving part to it.

I was just surprised that someone with such a geek job didn't know about the controller when my parents (who do live in a deep cave, especially my mother) knew about it before I mentioned it to her.

Well now you know what to expect next month, you can throw cows and bowl with the rest of us.

Ok, stacer. When you're here in a couple of weeks, I'm going to have to kidnap you and take you to my upstairs neighbors so you can get a taste of the wonderful workout that is Wii Sports. ^_^

Oo oo! Me too!  ;D

As far as exercise, though, I have good news. I dog-sat for friends recently. While I was there, I walked the dog and played with him everyday--good for him and good for me. Well, the dog loved me so much and has become extremely lonely (all the kids have recently moved out of the house) that the owners hired me to walk him each week. I can do it as much or as little as I want, depending on my health--a real no-pressure deal. I'm happy to do it. And it will get me out and exercising, which is good since I'm increasing my medication and it seems to be putting a few extra pounds on me.  :P

Plus, money is good. It won't be much, but when you got nothing, every little bit counts. So, yay for exercise!

My apartment did "Buddy Pushups" last night.  97 pushups à l a "buddy method" = a Jade Knight with sore abs.
