The Prestige

I'd like to know what people's opinions are of this book by Christopher Priest.  I found the first half slow, but interesting - then the 2nd half extremely good.

While the movie was not quite as good as the book, I thought it was very good in its own right.

We've already got a thread on this (in the movie section).
Lord Ruler and Lady Protractor were off on vacation, thus the angles running amok.

A thread about the movie, but not the book.

I didn't even know there was a book. Haven't read it, so I can't comment on it. But I bet it's pretty good, because it was a good movie.
