And with 6.5 hours to spare, no less!  It's not an official win, since I was working on previous projects like I always do, but it's still nice to hit the goal.

Well, if I count previous projects to add to this, I get halfway there (same book, different incarnation). :) Of course, that's only the most recent version of the previous project, the novella I wrote in the spring.

So how did everyone do?

On my unoffical NaNo I got to 51,000 words on the 30th (the one I actually started in October...).

About 25,000.

Ah, well, it's a new record for me.

Well, that free lance project kept me quite busy, didn't have any time to work on this for 3 weeks.  I know I'm not doing a book, but this can be almost as time consuming.

Most of the things that are left to do are cosmetic, like animated menus, more graphics and actually designing levels that are challenging.  And all the graphics in the game besides the actual sprites of the game (so the title screen, windows ect) are just place holders.  The three here are just test levels.

I'm curious what the mystery edible thing that isn't food was.

Someone told me that you were bringing something edible, but that it wasn't food, and it intrigued me what that could be.

It only barely classified as "edible." It would be more accurate to say "non-toxic."

That's some way to show your appreciation for my generosity, a five course meal isn't cheap you know.

Next time I'll bring you ramen instead.
