Well, whichever Superfly thread people want to use, I just thought I'd say I'm going internet-dark for about 5 days.
Anyway, talk to you all next week. I'll let you all know how fun ALA was. :)

Aaah, how sad! I'll miss stacer!

I always think it is funny to see my name all over the place when I have posted in several different sections. It makes me feel a little self-conscious, that I am posting so much, as if I'm an ego-maniac who feels that my opinion is oh-so important.

So I've decided, instead of feeling self-conscious, I'm going to have a new goal. One of these days I am going to have a post in every section on the board. The trick is that they all have to be semi-relevant to whatever discussion is going on.

And I will take over the BOARD!!!!!!

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!  ;D

It's not so much the post count, as it is a moment in time when I will rule the board! I know I cannot equal the post-iness of you, e, but I can dominate in my own way.

Although, now that I have announced my intentions, I may have to be more covert. Like wait until a time when I'm the only one on the board.  ;)

take it in small steps, weedhopper. Start by just getting every post in the 10 "Recent posts" list to be from you.

Just popping in. I'm in Chicago, which is making me very homesick for Chi-town. More later.  :)

Ms. Fish, did you hear they're doing a Rent movie, coming out this November?

Did I post this before?

I don't think you did, but my sister told me about it.

I'm having a hard time getting excited, since I'm 99.9% sure it's going to be R rated, which would mean no Rent for me.

I mean, can you see a movie of that *not* being R rated?

I hadn't thought about that.  Chris Columbus is directing it and I associate him with kids' movies...

Maybe they'll cut out Contact and get it a PG-13?

They actually might,... remember 'R' rated movies dont sell that well. Course the subject matter may dictate the rating in this one. The mention of AIDS itself can sometimes jack up a movies rating.

Here's hoping it gets a PG-13.  I'm worried about the swearing though.  There's a lot of major swear words in the music itself.

I sure hope they cut out Contact...that could get it an NC-17, depending on how they do it...

I didn't know where to put this, but the Superfly Thread seemed appropriate. Just letting you all know that I will be out of town for a week. I'll be in Idaho alternatively with my family and with EUOL's family. EUOL may let me borrow his computer to post, but I'm not taking mine, so don't expect anything. So TWG will be Chimera-less for a week. I don't know *how* you'll survive without my scintillating conversation! Try hard not to miss me too much.  ;)
