Hey hey, Splinter may be an elderly rat but he's still one tough cookie when it comes to the martial arts.

I don't think my dojo has a full wall on any side. Windows on two sides, mirrors on one, and doors on another. Hm.

Life sucks so badly right now that it makes me want to curl up in a ball and die.  Somehow I got it into my head that it would be a good idea to move, so now I have no internet, no phone and no friends nearby.  Add that to the 98723892387 things that have gone wrong this week, and I just plain want to disappear.

Okay, this isn't so much grumpy as funny, but when I walked into BYU's Tanner Building this morning (where all the Business majors are), I was overpowered by the smell of men's cologne and aftershave. I'd never noticed it before, but it makes sense--all those dressed-up business men drowning in "I-smell-good-and-can-easily-accomplish-a-corporate-takeover" type products makes for an interesting olefactory experience.  :P

Now you know how a corporate merger is really done. The businessmen try to intoxicate and asphyxiate each other with various colognes and perfumes, while the corporate lawyers move in for the kill. Although sometimes intoxication is more direct when alcohol is used but I’m sure BYU students don’t learn or use this tactic. Thus the moral is, never get caught in a room with a bunch of businessmen trying to do a merger/take-over (unless you are the lawyer or are represented by a lawyer who is not intoxicated).
A peasant between two lawyers is like a fish between two cats.

ok, well, I'm just grumpy because I spent the entire day fixing the new guy's computer. swapping it out twice.

Still no idea why it didn't work, but one of the swaps made it work.

Anyway, I don't mind this work, it's just that I haven't been able to do anything on the Internet for most of my shift.

You think that is bad.  I am the asst. System admin here and I had to guard the front door (that means do nothing but watch the door, because we have a secretary in the reception room) for about 4 hours.
