Check out the thread in Writing Group. It's discussed there.

Basically, every November is Novel Writing month. Writers commit to write 50,000 words--aka a novel--in the month of November. If you do it, I think you can get an awards certificate from the online site that sponsers it. It's mass motivation.

Use the quote button located in the top left corner of the post you want to quote. Then you can edit the text to focus on the part you want to quote, if you wish.

I don't know if that is in the FAQs or if I just learned by trial and error. One of my favorite posts was when I wrote a ransom note to MsFish using every YABBC tag available. It was fun!  ;D

My grump: Somedays this site is like crack. I keep hanging out here reading and posting when I am supposed to be writing. And preparing a healthy lunch.

A plague upon the TWG houses!

I remember my days of waiting for people to post...back before Superfly kicked the bucket.

ANyway, I'm EXTREMELY grumpy, to the point of irrational fury, because I've not only apparently lost my flash drive, but it had the only copy of my NaNo on it.

That SUCKS!  I'm very, very sorry.  ::huggles::

If you need, I could take over your blog, though, for the record, I'm WAYYYYY behind schedule.  I don't know if I'll make deadline, though I'm trying.

Aside:  Do you know the Solar Twins' song, "Rock the Casbah"?  Good song.

I posting for my ferret.

Poor Nefer is having body image issues. First she's grown her winter coat, which take her longer to clean. But her big problem is that she's gotten chubbier. So now she's having trouble climbing things--she keeps falling down cause her bottom is bigger than she remembers it being. It tragically happens to so many of us. :'(

On the plus side, the added chubbieness and fluffier fur makes her really cuddly...or would if she weren't a ferret.

I was accused of having an eating disorder tonight.

So I went to Final Cut with a group of friends and we happened to be in line behind a girl I went to London with who I just love. We were chatting, catching up, and then at the end of the conversation she said, "Are you eating? You look thin." I laughed and said of course I was eating. I said it was just the form-fitting shirt I had on--even my roomie had said earlier that night that it made my waist look tiny. My London friend said, "But your face looks thinner, too." Then she turned to the guy I was talking to (who happens to be my crush) and said, "Make sure she's eating!"

Great. Now my crush thinks I'm anorexic. Just what I wanted.  :P

Few girls I know are as thin as Ari - but her mother, who has had 3 children, is just as thin.
