I'd also be interested in hearing back on a few of my Mistborn 3 comments eventually, though it doesn't seem you've gotten back to that book yet. ;)

I'm working on my comments. As usual, I've got to pace myself so that I don't forget any key stuff I meant to mention. It's fun but kind of daunting. I actually printed the ms on a laser printer and scribbled notes as I went. So now I'm going thru each chapter's notes to make sure I don't skip over things! weee!

lol.  Miyabi, remember, all three of these people are people I knew in RL.  They're some of my best friends, and they've read some of my bad early novels.  (Which, by the way, I'll send you if you really want me to.  Email me, and I'll send you Dragonsteel, White Sand, or Star's End.  They're not TOO bad.)  

Eric, I sent you a reply.  Peter, I am about half-way through a response.  The trouble is that I have difficulty allocating time to Mistborn 3 right now, with all of the other projects I'm working on.  However, I WILL send you a response, and I have read your comments.  

I really, really appreciate these reads, guys.  It's a vital part of the process.

I have not been here long either and it definitely feels like I walked into a private club without the secret handshake.   However,  a writer's forum dominated  by the author himself and people close to him is a much more rewarding experience than the forums of other authors I have visited.

No worries about the secret handshake bit.  If he had one, he would probably forget it, or simply change it on arbitrarily on a regular basis.   ;D

Yes, he does that. Why, last November it was shoving a chicken leg up your nose and singing America the Beautiful. We got some strange looks from that, and a few of us were even commited.
