Fall Book Tour
« on: September 01, 2006, 05:29:04 PM »
So, Brandon, what exactly is and is not on your itinerary for your tour this fall?  Those of us up here in the Pacific Northwest, especially those with expecting wives who can't get to Utah on a regular basis, would still like to see you every now and again and maybe even treat you to dinner while you're in the Portland Metro area.  I figured I'd ask about the whole itinerary in case you were coming anywhere close enough to drive to without undue travel time.

P.S. Did you ever get in touch with Powell's Books (http://www.powells.com) and find out if you can do a signing there??  I would think they'd be all about that!

Let me know when you're in Seattle and I'll get Mistborn then. That's rather more convenient than sending it to Utah if you're going to be here sometime.

Is your wife coming with you, or any other authors? I'd be glad to give you all a tour of Wizards--which is our new building, which you haven't seen.

I know you said you'd be in Portland the second weekend of December, but do you know any more detail about the trip itinerary than that?  Any chance you'll have time to grab lunch or something?  Granted, we'll probably have a two week old at that point, but I'd like to at least get together for a little while when you're in town here.

Wow, that's quite a tour.  Too bad the order doesn't make the best geographic sense.

Yes, December.

And I would have liked to go in a better order, Eric, but we kind of have to bow to the whims of the bookstores.

Brandon, on your site it says you'll be doing a signing with Dave Farland and L E Modesitt Jr on the 1th. Do you mean the 1st (Dec) or another date with th?

EDIT--Uh, now I can't find it.  Sprig, did you fix this already?

Okay, so what's going on with everyone swapping avatars? Fell's is Ent's, Sprigg's is Fell's, and Ent's is Sprigg's, and who knows what else. I read comments and *think* I know who is talking but then I see that it's not. The swappage is toying with my entire world view. It's driving me batty! Whose crazy idea was this anyhow?

Um... can I play too?
