You can hear the music on the AM radio
« on: July 07, 2006, 05:35:14 PM »
Cool news!

Next Friday, July 14th, I'll be on the KSL Doug Wright Movie Show, shilling the new book.  I'm extremely excited.

Listen in from 10:00am to noon, on AM 1160, or FM 102.7.
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier.

While you're there, make sure to kick Doug Wright under the table for me. What a putz.

It was a measily 2 minutes! Bah! He could have asked more questions, like, more about the book! Sheesh. Instead Doug waxed 'eloquent' on how books were more of physical medium than radio, how it would be around longer. Duh. Now I know why I don't listen to that show. The guy is positively boring.

Yeah, it was really really short, which was lame.  The sad thing is that I sat there and talked to Doug Wright and Steve Salles for a long time (during commercials) and we talked about the book and the DB/Seagull thing, but when it came time to get on the radio, they were up against the hourly break, and I was only on for a couple minutes.

I felt bad I missed this, and then realized that I had it on my iPod.  Dougy podcasts his show now, so if anybody missed the interview, you can download it.

Did they promise you a specific amount of time?

Nope.  It wasn't even a real interview, I guess, it was just part of the time that Seagull paid for so KSL would advertise the new store.  (That is my assumption, at least.)
