I'm happy because I got stickers in my box of Poptarts.

ah, you do anything else tonight 42?  watch any movies or anything?

Actually I went to bed early. I was rather sleep deprived.

Which currently makes me really happy that I got some sleep finally. I'm looking forward to taking a nap this afternoon.

I'm happy because I discovered hope.  That may sound silly, but I think I've gone pretty much my whole life without understanding hope, and I get it now.

I think so.  And I'm happy that I've acquired it.  It certainly was hard-earned.  Now if I can just hang on to it...

Hope is always good.

I'm happy because I discovered that my laptop is designed to be upgradable - RAM, CPU, Hard Drive, and even the DVD drive.  I'm happier because I discovered that Hugebee did not manufacture it; they just comissioned it, so its manufacturer is still around so if something goes wrong I can get it fixed!  Yay!

(Hugebee went bankrupt last year)

I'm happy because this afternoon I made delicious home-made corn chowder.

Oh, and because I got an interview for the Church Magazines Internship. If I actually got the paid internship, I may end up staying in Utah--though I would be in Salt Lake, not Provo.

Who knows. We'll see. At least I made it past the first step--they liked my portfolio and resume enough to interview me.  :D

That's great! Congratulations! I never got an interview with the internships, myself. I didn't really fit the English major profile they usually look for. Oh, well, I'm glad, really. The path I've followed has worked much better for fulfilling my dreams.

I'm pleased that I was able to paint the walls of my bathroom in under 2 hours (about 45 minutes of actual painting after about 45 minutes of taping). I still have to paint the trim and ceiling, but that is a project for tomorrow.

You're painting your own bathroom? For fun, or because the landlord wouldn't do it, even after all the hassle of the water heater thing?

I found a new love--the Food Network.  ;D

I am so asking Santa for a food processor this year! I love cooking from scratch, but cutting and dicing everything is such a pain. Emeril and Rachel have convinced me that a food processor is absolutely essential to my happiness.  ;)
