I'm happy because not all boys suck.  :)

And because I got to see my roomate practice her self-defense moves on her sister (my other roommate), which kept me highly entertained. Then she taught me some of the moves, and I threw her over my shoulder and can spring up from the ground. I'm like part ninja now.  ;D

I'm happy because my wife could take our two sons to a candy factory today.

My Enlisted Performance Evaluation was finished today and I got great marks, fantastic marks. On a 7 point scale I got a lot of 5's and 6's (7's are hard to get).

7 is the good end of the 7 point scale by the way.

Because of the move, I had to go into work today, even though I'm still sick (that's the grumpy part)--I had to pack up my stuff. But, happily, I got to come home as soon as I'd packed up my stuff. I should be taking a nap, but my kitten is having too much fun having me home. Perhaps if I wear him out, he'll get some sleep so I can too. :)

Oh, no, I should have been more clear. Wizards is moving across the street to a new building. So I went to work and packed up my stuff, then came home sick.

ah, all clear.  on a side note, you reinstituted the magic monster in me stace.  After trying Ravnica, which is sweet,  i am hooked again on magic.  I have bought 1 precon(boros,if anyone wondered), 4 boxes and some singles of ravnica this week.

Heh. I'm sure the Magic people love to hear stuff like that.

Another happy note: Mogget (my kitten, for those who don't know) has been getting a little bored with his toys. I was reading up online that you should rotate their toys periodically, so I put a cardboard box over his two favorite toys to hide them overnight. He is now attacking the cardboard box, and has figured out how to get the box off so he can play with the toys. Hours of entertainment.

i still wish i had a kitten:(  Your story just made me more envious.  Maybe i can glue some magic cards together to make a fake kitten i can play with.  Now that is hours of entertainment!.....

I re-dyed my hair red one last time (it was quite faded when I was there last weekend, by the way) so that I could be Lucille Ball for Halloween. And it finally worked right! Yay! MsFish has excellent advice when it comes to this subject. I did the ends first, counter to the directions, and it looks so much better than last time.

But I'm getting tired of the red, really. I had the box (had gotten 2 for 1 on sale a while back), so I'm going to let it fade away this time. By Christmas I'll be a blonde again.

I'm happy because I got to talk to two good friends I haven't spoken with in a long time. One of them--my guy friend from London--even got out his journal of the first day we got to know each other at a historic pub and read me the entry, where he described me as a kind and intelligent young woman who he enjoyed having a discussion with about our hopes and dreams.

That made me feel so good. That somebody would say such nice things about me after just getting to know me. And he said he still knows that about me--that I have a lot to offer, health challenges or no.

Thank goodness for good friends.  :)  And I know that someone is watching out for me, that my guy friend who I haven't talked to in forever would call me out of the blue to tell me something like that. So thank goodness for that, too.

Yay, I have tricker-or-treaters this year. 23 so far. Witches and Wizards seam to be a popular outfit this year. I've gotten a couple of Darth Vadars too.
