The Kinks

Then comes Rush, TMBG, and U2, in no particular order.

The tiers get bigger as you move away from favorite, the next tier includes the likes of Toad the Wet Sprocket, Matthew Sweet, the Beatles, Peter Gabriel, REM, the Cure, and so forth.

The Beatles, The Clash, Sex Pistols, The Soft Boys, U2, The Doors, Gorillaz, Morphine, and Weezer.

But I also love Classical music.

I like old school punk, I've got some NY Dolls, lots of Ramones, the Pogues before they ditched their talent... (ie... stinkin Shane Mcgowen) and more :)

I'd have to choose Bad Religion. They haven't changed their sound in 10 years, but it still sounds incredibly good.

A close second would be Tool/A Perfect Circle. Their lead singer, Maynard James Keenan, is probably one of the best songwriters I have ever seen.

Actually, it's pretty hard for me to pick a favorite. I listen to everything from bands like Toad The Wet Sprocket to The Locust.

I have an extremely difficult time picking a favorite band; but my husband's favorite band, Sister Machine Gun, is playing in Salt Lake in June.

Rolling Stones, but I also like swing, jazz, classical, techno, oldies... just about anything under the sun other than hip hop.  I can't stand that...
