It would be interesting to do a tally and see what percentage of SE's posts contain the words "ninja" or "monkey."

actually, monkeys make everything 56% funnier, is the official stat. So if you want to raise your humor level, insert more monkeys.

yeah, that was more gross than funny. Though, granted, it was more funny than say, inserting a pencil.

Doesn't annoy me at all. You know how I feel about film critics. The fact that most of them are wrong about a movie is not anything new at all. Look up the original reviews for the first Star Wars movie. It was hated by the critics. But it was far from so terrible.

But actually, I saw one of the newer commercials for sky captain. The original trailer I saw got me excited at first, but by the end of it looked like it would suck hardcore. The commercial I saw last night was an improvement, and I can grudgingly admit potential for it, though I am still extremely wary.

An Art Deco fantasia imagined by a gadget-obsessed 12-year-old
And this is bad...how? Sounds good to me ;D I never listen to critics.
Who wouldn't want to get paid to watch movies? The only better job is weatherperson where you can screw up and still get paid.

No, movie reviewer is better than weatherperson, because it's physically impossible to screw up--everything is based on objective opinion.

That's what makes it better to me :) You can screw up and you don't get fired. Although being a critic may have a bit more facelessness to it...
Anywho, my wife's been teasing me about this movie since I almost drop everyting when a new trailer comes on tv. Why are you so excited about this movie she says. "i dunno. Just look at it!" lol
