And their sound system is brand new.

Ah, good.  That was mostly what I was worried about.  No stadium seating, I suppose, but I guess we can work around that.

Well, we saw Return of the King last night, and all I can say is...

"DAYUM!!!"

Not only is it longer than the other two, but it is more detailed, richer in every way, and just a work of art for any fantasy fan.  It finally washed away the bad taste left by the Dungeons & Dragons movie.  This is definitely the movie of the year.  I could go on and on about it, but since some of you will not be able to see it until Wednesday, I will keep mum.

Just..... please...... SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!

Is your wife opposed to going to see that movie with you?

no.

I mean, yes, she doesn't want to go see it, for various reasons she'll wait till it's on DVD. But that's not my point.

It's not fair that he already saw it. I hates him. Hates him for he's seen the precious.

So when is everybody planning on seeing RotK?

I'm planning on waiting until after my Christmas break (because my parents will probably have already seen it by the time we get there).

I'm gonna see it tomorrow. With FotR I saw it twice opening day, cuz the wife was out of town and I was by myself.

With TTT I saw it opening showing, midnight, etc. But at that time I didn't start work till noon, so it wasn't a big deal. Now I have to be at work by 8, so getting home at 4, then waking up 2 hours later doesn't sound like fun.

So I'll see it tomorrow night. 10 bucks a pop, but it's alright. Definitely worth it.

Izzy:  Us too.  We did the same thing with Two Towers last Christmas.  So we'll probably just pop over to Mansfield for an afternoon showing that hopefully isn't too crowded.  I do NOT want to go all the way down to Columbus again this year.  Easton is so crowded.

I admire your fortitude, even though I don't understand it--seeing this movie any later than opening day would drive me bananas. Wednesday, 7:00pm.
