Wow. That's all I can say right now, just wow.

If I liked Halo this would probably make me happy, where's the Metroid love?  Probably be rated R too, Peter Jackson has been itching to get back to his very gory roots for quite a while.  Though I do find it funny that so many people were calling Microsoft crazy when they went to Hollywood with their list of demands (ie control over the final script, say in the director and cast ect) and now this has got all all those people eating their own words.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

I've never played Halo, but I've heard good things about it.  Saw this review of the script posted a few days ago, and I thought Halo fans might be interested.  There was a warning for language on it--so beware.  Also, it looks like it's definitely headed for R-rating-dom.  I only skimmed it, but that much seemed clear.

Looks like Peter Jackson isn't directing the movie, he's a producer on it.

IMDB jumped the gun on this.

He's the executive producer. I knew about that a while ago.

The Folly of youth is to think that intelligence is a subsitute for experience. The folly of age is to think that experience is a subsitute for intelligence.
