Oh, yeah, it counts. And it's even based on a Hasbro property--we were talking about it at work the other day. I forgot to add it to my list.

Last year, I read that they were supposed to do a live-action remake of the Last Unicorn.  It was supposed to have a lot of the original cast (switching roles) including, Christopher Lee, Angela Landsburry, Mia Farrow, ect.  But I haven't been able to find much information on the project.  It looks to be suspended for some reason.  This is there main website, which is pretty cool, but I couldn't find any info on production or release dates, http://www.the-last-unicorn.net/intro.htm.  I can't be the only one that loves this classic.  If anyone runs across any info, let me know!!!

Thanks! I knew the film was happening--I just couldn't find anything to back up the rumor about the release date.

The Wachowski brothers? Spelled just liked it sounds. Now their first names, don't even bother asking how to pronounce those.

Larry and Andy? Hard to spell, or you just couldn't remember their names?

I think The Water Horse by Walden Media is fantasy. Also, don't forget The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian!
