nice. ok i know im asking way too much here, but do we get to personalise our images (sprites). only it looks really stupid when everyone looks the same. as well as the fact that it would allow us to differentiate between each other. finally, how are text and names sorted? UO style or by a textbox?
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

Yeah, Sprig.  That's great!

We're working on things, Charlie.  We have to get the game actually running before we really worry about specifics.  Suggestions, however, are always welcome.

I'm not sure, to be honest.  It scaled really well, and looked really sharp, but it certainly was unexpected.  I kept trying to resize the window to get a little extra space around the edges, and everything kept growing.

well I'm takeing a break from the MMORPGF and decided to finish the droid game.  I would like to make a simple game that we can keep a score.  The Beat up the editor game that I'm going to start this weekend could have one (maybe best time or something like that).  So any suggestions here would be good.  once I figure out a decent way to do networking I'd like to do the Scorch game.  also me and 42 have been tossing around a shooting gallery game.  And me and EUOL have talked breifly about a Monky Island style game.  I figure if I have a few different games I can switch beteen once I get bored with that game I can switch to another so I do just stopp working on flash.  But I think I want to keep it to 3 things at once.

ok I decided to make an aracanoid style game in flah (yes I know that I haven't finished the editor game or the shooting game, but 42 has been realy busy and he's trying to compress/cleanup the dan pictures as much as he can, and has promised me a cool background for Timewasters).  this game's graphics would be realy simple, even I can do them.  anyway I need Someone to help me with some math for the game.  I can do it with out the math but the game would be alittle cheep (meaning when the ball hits the paddle it goes only in two different directions that are randomly determined).  so I need some volocity equasions and a way to set the angle the ball takes after it hits an object.  flash does have full range of trig and algerbra functions.  this game would allow me to implement the High score function that I've been wanting to use.  I'm figureing two game modes...standard puzzle mode (probaly with 20 or so levels) and a random mode.  I'm also going to use the standard unbreakable blocks and multi-hit blocks.
and a alwayse I want to do stuff that would make the game a little unique so anyideas on how to custamise the game, also I haven't come up with a name yet.  the game could be a theam game (like timewasters where you shoot clocks) so the name can have something to do with the style or custem fetures in the game.  (ie like Wack-a-dan, where instead of blocks you have dan's head), but I don't want to do something that cheezy.

Some of you may remeber the "shooter" game that I realy never did.  Well I was hyper after typeing a RPG review so I started to work on it.  Have fun clicking things whilest I figure out how I want the clocks to move and how to tell Flash when to spawn them.
