Timewastering games
« on: May 19, 2004, 08:55:08 AM »
Found a fun quick game you can play whenever then post it here.  This isn't realy free games but more fun free webgames so no posting links to games you have to download (like Dink Smallwood).

Man, I love kick ups. I used to play that all the time. Thanks for reminding me.

THere is, of course, a lot of crap on the MSN zone, but there is Bejeweled and Alchemy which are great timewasters.

I've always been a big fan of 3-D Pong and the helicopter game.

Actually, anything from addictinggames.com is great for killing a couple of minutes...or hours if it comes down to it.

Everything at the web site Orisinal (Do a google search, I'm not your slave. Probably "Orisinal.com")

Orisinal has about fifty very simple games, about five of which contain anything violent. (Flicking away spiders I don't consider violent, same for bees and wasps).

The site has the subtitile "Morning sunshine" which desribes the games well - they're happy, nature themed games that are just fun, and about fun, not bull. The games want so hard for nothing except you to be happy. It makes a nice change from all the shooters and stuff you get nowadays.

the cat herding is what always does me in.  Though I seem to remember something about stacking pigs too.

Oh yes. found the pig-stacking.  what's also great about these games is the music.  The music for pig-stacking seems to be some theme on Pachebell's Cannon.
