Awesome. Can't wait to hear how it goes!
Lord Ruler and Lady Protractor were off on vacation, thus the angles running amok.

I'm happy that Archon is helping with the newbie smackdown.

I love that it's so entertaining. I can appreciate it, although I'm no good at it.

I made some black bean and corn salsa tonight, and it wasn't half bad. It would have been better had the recipe been easier to read (half of it started under the nutritional information on the bean can), which would have prompted me to buy a fresh tomato. As it was, the canned tomato did... okay. But it's still a happy thing that I made something relatively healthy to snack on. Now I have to remember to eat those apples I have in the fridge before they go bad.

I'm happy because I got nearly 12 hours of sleep last night.

Wow, that makes me envious.

I went to bed at 8, took a full dosage of sleep medication and got 5 hours of sleep.

I'm not really complaining, just wishfulling thinking it would be nice to get 12 hours of sleep once and a while.

I slept 12 hours on Friday, Saturday and 14 on Sunday.  Getting over a cold tends to do that too you.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

I think my problem was that I've had this bizarre dreams that wake me up a lot
so while I've been in bed and mostly unconscious for ~8 hours all week, I haven't been getting much real rest. But last night, I just went to bed as soon as I sent the kids to their room, and I actually fell into a deep sleep

Here's wishing everyone a good night's sleep! My dad and I were talking about how it takes a bad night of sleep to appreciate what a blessing sleep is. I really sympathize with those who don't get enough rest often.

Yeah, like mothers of young children, who experience that not just occasionally, but for years.

And to keep this thread from sounding like the grumpy thread, I will add my 2 cents of happiness, in the form of new wood floors at my house. I love them.

I'm happy because my wife (who is one of those mothers with young children who has not slept for years) is taking a nap right now.
