JP has made me very very happy because I love a good literature joke more than almost any kind of joke in the world.  I am also possessed with the giddy desire to put in a DVD and laugh at Michael Keaton.

I nearly watched that last night myself. I ended up deciding on Lord of the Rings, but got bored (not because of the movie, but because of my mood) and went to bed early. Except that I couldn't sleep--after falling asleep all afternoon at work. This surgery really messed with my sleeping patterns, I tell you. But this is under happy things because I still think I'm getting better, slowly but surely.

So you're back at work now? Yay! Even if it's a half-asleep workday, it's still going in the right direction. Cool. :)

Yay, I got my job offer package from Pearson Education in the mail today. Not bad hourly rate at all plus overtime and 401k and ins. :)

I'm happy because my husband and I are going to southern Utah for a little vacation this next weekend. I'm having fun planning it!

I'm happy because I actually grok what's going on in my visual basic class.
And because I found a rockin' new photo. What's cooler than a fly? A fly with shades.

Sweet, I love it when I grok stuff! But it's even better when I get stuff.

Yay, my new ferret cage arrived, which is sending my ferret into much joyful dancing and happy squeaking.

Ferret Dance of Joy or Ferret Dance of Extreme Joy? Or even better yet would be Ferret War Dance or Retaliation!

Best first day of work ever! Started at Pearson Education today, and it was great! I think I'll really like working there. (Free hot chocolate and no clocking in are definitely a part of the happy equation. Good co-workers too.) yay!

I'm so happy I don't have to work today.  I managed to work 40 hours this week even though I was only scheduled for 24, and I'm bushed. At least I have the weekend off.

I'm happy because I got to wear my hair down today, all day, since I wasn't at work. It may be silly, but I feel that having to wear your hair up in a bun or some other out-of-the-way formation every day defeats the purpose of having waist-length hair.
