Stuff i just bought

I just picked up 'Armageddon: End of Days' by the guys who do Witchcraft and All Flesh Must be Eaten. Its a possible future of witchcraft, where a enemy from another dimension has kick started WW3.

They describe it as Clive Barker meets Tom Clancy meets Star Wars. You can play as gurrillas fighting in the ruins of Europe or asia, as US soldiers fighing in the trenches of 21st century combat or as gods, angels and immortals fighting earth shaking battles with demons and monsters.

I only just picked it up, not like i've got past the first chapter yet. Just thought i'd say and see if anyone else had heard of it.

NO, but I got the D20 Modern Menace Manual over the weekend. Probably the only d20 Modern expansion i'm really interested in.

I'm very impressed with the Menace Manual. If they'd released that second instead of Urban Arcana, more people would take their game seriously as a multi-purpose RPG engine.

Ironically, I've recently been tempted (thanks to Hunter: The Reckoning) to try a zombie-hunting campaign using d20 Modern. It would really lend itself well to that style.

YEah, zombie hunting would be cool. You could do a decent Night of the Living Dead campaign with d20 Modern. I've not much chance to look through the Menace Manual, but other than wishing they'd used the stricter formatting in the Monster Manual for the creature listings, (I hate having to search through this stuff, why can't all of WOTC's d20 creature listings look the same so I can get used to it) I think I was pretty impressed. I got a lot of shipments over the weekend, so my glee knows no direction, other than an push to read through the stuff I have faster.
