The Cottontree is hiring, but that's because people keep quiting since the new management is horrid.

i know of a real excellent entry level or low-experience level position here in the DC Area for a Process Writer. I'd be happy to give details to anyone who is interested. It's with a large corporation but the department is small. The benefits are great and the salary just not quite what I can take (they offered, and I had to very reluctantly turn them down). It'd be a full-time job with a good career track.

I keep on dreaming that one day I'll wake up and go to work. Does this mean that I'm losing my mind?

I see no requirement for grammar. Sprig should apply.

I have a lunch interview with a firm tomorrow. It will be my third interview with this firm. I hope that means they're about to give me an offer.

If not, they're sadistic torturers. Curse them.  >:(
All Saiyuki fans should check out Dazzle! Emotionally wrenching action-adventure and quirky humor! (At least read chapter 6 and tell me if you're not hooked.) Volume 10 out now!

No, they are not sadistic tortureres, Ookla. They called me tonight and gave me a job offer. I should get the offer in writing by the end of the week. I now just need to check with another firm to see if they will give me an offer, but it looks like I'll be taking this offer.

Yea, no more being a lawyer without a firm. Thirteen months of unemployment was extremely hard.

Thus hopefully ends the summer of our discontent. My husband got a call from a web design place in Mansfield (next town over) who were sent his resume and want him to work for them!

Lost One, I'm really happy to hear the good news. It seemed extremely unfair for you to go to all the work to become a lawyer and then not be able to find a job for so long. So, I'm glad you found a firm. Yay!  ;D
