Woot. I have, after trying time and time again to not fall asleep I have received my prize! I have gotten my new Creative  I-Trigue 3400 speakers. These things are rocking. And they're small so they aren't taking up as much room as my old set. Plus, it's a 2.1 sound system, so it came with one of them subwoofers things I don't know much about. It also came with a seperate dongle for the control of the volume! There's also this neat little holder for a Zen Micro so you can attach it to the speakers and play your music through them. Definately a great investment.

Having my 2-year-old neice wake me up every morning this week with a hug and a kiss has been very, very nice.  :)

BYU beats Utah. This makes the holidays with my in-laws much more bearable.

I was happy because I had a coworker get fed up with me waiting to take a board and leap like seven rungs of the command chain to get me one. So, after acing said board today I feel pretty good, and pretty smat,... er smart.

After a brief hiatus, my computer is once again fully operational. (Stupid bluetooth adapter.)

I've been doing some "busy work" in addition to editing at my work (i.e. data entry, statistics, etc.), and today I found out that my boss is hiring someone to do that work (and more), so I can concentrate more on writing and editing. Sure, it's writing and editing boring stuff (things like technical docs and department operations), but still not as boring as data entry. This makes me very happy!

I have a good friend who likes to send me stupid songs to make me smile when I'm sad. Even though he doesn't want to date me anymore. :)

Christmas is coming soon! (Also, it's my b-day in 12 days!)  :D

Happy birthday! That's about when I'll be landing in Chicago. Are you guys coming up before Christmas? I have to leave about noon on Christmas Day.

I just got a Magic card for Employee Appreciation Week. It's a silvery foil one, called a Fruitcake Elemental. Heh.

Fruitcake Elemental is indestructible.

At the end of your turn, Fruitcake Elemental deals 7 damage to you.

3: Target player gains control of Fruitcake Elemental.
