me, with a gun, grumpy.

Spent all day learning about the USCG's new sidearm the Sig Sauer P229-DAK Pistol. Its a .40 Smith and Wesson. I shoot basic and Practical on monday.

Basic is straight range, practical involves a few different stances, with cover and tactical loading.

I assume that i shoot judgemental as soon as they can arrange it.

Did I mention that I am not a fan of firearms.

yeah

grumpy.

plus shooting in the cold not so great.

at least this is a nicer gun than the venerable/ useless beretta.
And in the field we get issued hollow points.

But what is it you have against firearms?

I'm grumpy because one of my coworkers (who is full-time) is ALWAYS calling off work, and they do NOTHING to punish her. She just got off two weeks vacation and she has been back 3 days out of the last 8. That is messed up.  The management's standpoint seems to be, "Hey, one less person we have to pay."  And this desipte the rather nasty meeting we had 4 months ago where they laid out the rules for attendance which were supposed to be very strict.

I swear I'm allergic to Utah. Every Fall, for the last four years, while I've been in Utah, I've come down with Bronchitus. Well, when I decided to move, one of the perks was, "Hey, maybe I won't get Bronchitus this year!" I'd avoided it so far (during September and early October), and I was moving to California, so it seemed plausible.

I was in Utah for four days this week. And guess what happened. I came down with Bronchitus.

I hate irony.  >:(

Heh, I hate to say it, but that is rather humorous bronchitis.

However, I am quite the loyal sucker. Last night was suppose to be my night off. A saturday night off of work. These are the things that gods covet. But yes, instead I went into work at the request of my team lead, since if I didn't there would have been no one doing the job that he and I are supposed to do. Due to the fact that he was running the floor last night, since both of the executives weren't "on" that night.

So, I am now exhausted and tired and I don't get another day off until thursday... I hate "Over-time."

I have 8am class on Tuesday, so I have to get up at no later than 6:45 to get there on time. Then I work until 10pm after class. But last Tuesday the third shift girl was sick and no one else could cover. So I worked a double shift and was awake for over 24 hours.

well, it's not 24, but when I close on thursday, I've just been awake (and working almost all of) 17.5 hours, giving me roughly 6 hours of sleep (assuming the kids let me sleep and I can fall asleep right away)before I get to do 18.5 hours to close on Friday. -- and I usually only get about 10 minutes at home between jobs.

That's how it was for me at the CT when going to school.  Would work 11pm-7am then goto classes from 8am-2pm, come home and get some stuff done then get to bed around 4pm.  So glad I've got a different job now.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

Today is the one-year anniversary of the death of M.Corsetti. :'( Shooting yourself with your dad's shotgun is NOT something anyone sane would do. I considered making an EMO/totally depressed topic to put this in. I went to my friend's house today because she knew him so well, and she had convinced herself he was selfish for doing it, but that it was somehow her fault for not going out with him. :'( *sigh**sniffle*

Depressing. :'(

Honest, sleep is a good thing. I'd like some occasionally. Now would be nice...
