I've been on Zithro a couple times, but my latest antibiotic was none other than Cipro, the one they apparently use for anthrax. That was fun. I felt horrible, and thought I wasn't getting better--well, it turns out it must have just been the Cipro,  because I feel amazing now. Still have a tiny bit of a sinus infection that hopefully the dr. will make GO AWAY so I can stay feeling so good. This is the first time in six months I've had so much energy. I have ridden my bike three times this week. It's wonderful!

Yay, Stacer!! It's sucky when antibiotics turn out to do more harm than good. I'm on Zithro right now and I sure hope it kicks this respiratory thing out of my system without screwing me up in a different way... I want to go back to the gym!! I want to wake up feeling good, not coughing crap up!  >:(

I was on a z-pack recently (for a sinus infection), and couldn't keep solids down.  I thought it was just me, but it makes me somewhat suspicious that it seems to commonly have nasty side effects.

As far as I understand, nausea and vomiting are a common side-effect with the designer antibiotics.

I think the only medicine i have taken in three years (including advil, tylenol, cough medicine etc...) was a loritab for ...something... I don't remember what it was for, but I had to take it cause the e.r. doctor told me so...I don't even remember what I had to go in for.. that's weird.

Must have had something to do with my head.

/me let's out a long sigh.

My turn to rant. So, I get paid on commission how well the people I place in companies do, right? I have 2 accounts, and 3 people distributed throughout these two.

Well, found out that all three are leaving or have left, because of quiting for something else, or what-not.

So.. now I have to start over, and I lose my commissions.

too bad, too bad.

Well! Back to work!!

Anyone know a software tester in the Draper area?  :)

Zithromax worked wonders for me the one time I took it--when I was sick on my mission--and I don't remember any side effects... It was a long time ago though.

I sure had side effects from the predisone I took for my hives outbreak a few months ago. I only had enough for 2.5 days, but I didn't sleep a wink during that time.

That happened to me in January or February when I was on something--was it prednisone? I think it was something else entirely, but man, it made my emotional reactions entirely overwrought, and I couldn't sleep, and I was even a bit paranoid at times, just really jumpy. It might have been prednisone, come to think of it. And it was all for nought, as it didn't help me one bit as far as being sick went.

Well, still have to get rid of this lingering sinus infection. The doctor's at a conference, so he's supposed to be faxing back a prescription. I could just go see my primary care doctor, but she said to talk to the ENT first. If I don't hear back tomorrow, I'm making an appointment, because these things blow up on my fast.

I didn't get to see how my dream ended last night.
And, apparently, I killed the happiness thread.

Well, e, I hope you get those allergies and the headache to leave you alone.

My blood is boiling right now because I found out that this twerp of a grad instructor I had this past semester had my classmates doing the teacher evaluations while he was still in the room! Not only that, but he offered them beers as they were filling them out. Talk about being ridiculously unethical! Beer wouldn't have worked on me, of course. ;) HOWEVER, this guy is unbelievable.

See, he set up an "extra" class period since we hadn't been able to look at the proofs, given all the time he wasted throughout the whole semester. But I refused to go on principle. Not to mention I've been sick lately and I didn't want to try to find his studio after a long day at work. Anyhow, the girl here at work that I took over for (she's an EA now) ran into me and told me about it.  >:(
