Humans. I always prefer playing generalists, and humans have that down pat.

Half Elves. I'm a whore for being the underdog, and their half and half nature appeals to me. Plus, long lives are sexy.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

haven't really tried out half-elves.  not enough pluses to take it in my opinion.  but they are sexy.

I try to pay less attention to the stats, personally. How well I hit stuff is really less important than how I roleplay hitting those things :P

There is always that stat versus character conflict. I kind of bother me when a character's race is chosen just because it fits best with a particular class. It propetuates the racial stereotypes.

Racism among RPG players is so common place. Why can't they learn to love orcs and elves equally?

I hate them equally. Does that count?

I despise halflings and gnomes. :(

Though the ones in Eberron are acceptable.

Shifters all the way. And gnomes are never acceptable.

gnome with an enlarge person spell permanently on them.  that would be weird and cool.  Also a warforged would be cool.  I forgot about them.

Shifters are cool, yes. Would be funny to play a soulknife shifter, you'd make the perfect assassin - no visible weapons needed.

That's an interesting thought. I wish I knew the psionics rules better.
