Hmmm...since when is a quake/force blast option "nice"?  The situations where you would opt for force blast over quake are so limited as to render that option pretty useless, in my opinion.  Or I may be missing something.

You know what's really sick about that Quake/Force Blast combo is that his damage is never greater than 2 when he has it, so one of the only reasons to choose Force Blast over Quake--a knockback of more than two squares--isn't even possible. If you're standing next to an ally and you don't want to worry about rolling to hit, and you don't want to actually do any damage, then Force blast becomes a good choice. In any situation outside of that very narrow one, Quake is universally better--it does all the same stuff and more.

That's a cool Johnny Storm, but it's an LE--does the real model look the same? I was unimpressed with their Mr. Fantastic figure, and I'll be very impressed if they do a bett Thing than the one we've already got, so I don't have much hope for the new FF. Though I suppose a Mr. Fantastic with a useful dial could be worth picking up--there's no point playing the team as it is, because his powers are so terrible.

They've got Thing, Mr. Fantastic, and Invisible Woman up on the FF figures gallery (R/E/Vs and LEs.)  Johnny Storm isn't there yet.

They need to stop putting that stuff online without telling me. What am I, chopped liver?

Okay: the new Thing is way lame, and his powers are, while authentic, boring. The new Invisible Woman sculpt is also lame, certainly not as good as the last one, and her powers are incredibly worse (at least at Rookie level, probably at Experienced as well). The new Human Torch is cool, and I'm willing to bet that the REV will be quite similar--all of the other FF members have LE sculpts that perfectly match the REVs so Torch might be the same. The new Mr. Fantastic model is arguably better than the old one, but his powers and point cost are unequivocally improved--especially in combo with Brilliant Tactician, which I'm going to say is the best feat in the set.

And that's in a set with some dang cool feats: Unstoppable, Shake Off, and Thunderbolts are all amazing. But Brilliant Tactician sill be very hard to beat--imagine it on an X-Men team or a Batman Enemy team where you could really abuse it. Me likey. I also like the implication in the Shake Off card art that there will be a giant-sized Hulk.

As for the other characters...I'm not sold yet. At this point I'm still in "buy the FF and a set of feats on ebay" territory. They'll need some killer figures to entice me to buy any boosters, let alone a significant number of them.

Previews of figs, scuplts, and stats for FF.  There's a cool-looking Spidey, a souped up Hawkeye (all the stuff of Ultimates Vet plus transporter and ES/D), and some mega-sentinel from a parallel universe that's pink and 264 points.

Interesting. I like the shocker, I like the new sculpt of Juggernaught, and I like some of the X-Men and FF, but overall I'm not impressed. I'll probably just trade or buy singles.

Spiderman's stats are up, he's defiantly one I'd like to have.

I also like Orphen's stats for 50 points

http://www.wizkidsgames.com/heroclix/marvel/figuregallery.asp?unitid=7788

Then, of course, there's the new "everyone is going to use" combo of Nimrod and Nova blast.

http://www.wizkidsgames.com/heroclix/marvel/figuregallery.asp?unitid=7963

Finaly is Dr. Doom who I'd like to have just to Have a Doom, though I like the classic Doom better.

http://www.wizkidsgames.com/heroclix/marvel/figuregallery.asp?unitid=7350

And the winner of best feat card is Unstopable, this card is great and makes SS units so much better at such a low cost.

In the right team, Brilliant Tactician has much more potential than Unstoppable, but you have to design around it to break it. In any other situation, I agree that Unstoppable is the best all-around feat.

Rogue is up and is pretty cool, each character is like a different mutant has been absorbed then each version has at the end of the dial Steal Energy and Exploit Weakness.

Rookie with SS and Invulnerability
