That's a very good superman, and one that actually makes good use of force blast (clicks with high damage and relatively crappy attack). I was bugged beyond measure when the figure description mentioned that his JLA free move made running shot and charge more attractive--does they're new writer even know how to play? I can't believe they turned me down in favor of a guy who doesn't know the difference between a move action and a power action.

Well, it's final.  I posted all my figs for sale on eBay.  We'll know what the take is Thursday night!

I'm still up for playing whenever.  I just have no figs is all.

It happens with me and collectible games.  I get to a point that the whole collectible aspect really starts to bug me.  It's fun for a while collecting the figs/cards/etc., but after a while it feels like a burden.  The same thing happened to me with Magic.

They're still fun games, and I still like to play them, but I just don't like to collect them anymore.  And my minimalist-materialist nature will not let me keep a collection of something that I don't collect anymore.  So I sell my stuff and have money to invest in whatever other collectible game that will interest me for a while.  Or I buy pizza.

You could buy a pizza for our Heroclix Mega-blowout Archnemesis extravaganza this Thursday (8:00pm at my house). We'll mail e a slice, but we won't refrigerate it.

Well Media play has lots of them in, and only place in Utah county with them, and I picked up a starter and 4 mini-boosters (the 2 figure ones).  The starter is a great deal for only $13 since you also get cards in it as well (and they aren't listed as being included).  Unfortunately Icons uses the old factory so the paint jobs aren't that hot.

Are the cards messed up? I can only assume that they are, or they wouldn't bo offering to rectify anything.

In the Boosters yes, the ones in the starter are fine.  The paint jobs are somewhat worse then normal too, from the looks of things it seams the old factory was upset about loosing the WK contract so told their workers to do a crappy job.

I'm glad WK is going to offer all the cards in a promo since out of 8 boosters I've only got 3 different ones.

Also the figure distribution is horrible, out of those 8 boosters

5 ravens (yet no REV set)
4 Starfires (no REV either)
3 Experienced Jokers
2 experienced Cheetahs
2 experienced Darkseeds

It's probaly the worst % of repeats I've ever gotten from a pack of boosters.

That's absolutely terrible. If I buy a 2-piece booster, do you suppose it will have two of the same guy in it?

Hope not, but they are a slightly better deal since for 3.99 you get 2 figs and a card while the full booster is 7.99 for 4 figs a 1 card.  Though the cards are totally trashed and I'm sick of pulling L-Ron pogs and Siphon Power.

Also since you can just trade things in at Media Play to get said small boosters makes it less painful to get repeats.
