I thought I put one in. because I remember thinking "This is the only book on here we've reviewed"

OH well, guess we'll just have sprig or fell add it.

On that note, I can't decide exactly what to do for the next one. I want to do video games, but best video game ever? I guess. I don't feel right restricting it to a platform, since that limits the people interested in teh article further. Best RPG? Best FPS? Best RTS? What do you guys think?

Well, I know what RPGs are, but I have no idea what the other two acronyms are. I do think limiting it to one style of game is a good idea.

Oh . . . First-Person Shooter, and . . . nope, I don't know that one.

What about fighting games like Double Dragon, Tekkan, Soul Calibur-ar (whatever) or slice-n-dices like Dynasty Warriors (I love that game). Where do they get classified?

as something separate. My list wasn't intended to be comprehensive. Just suggestive.

My personal suggestion is RPGs since there are enough different games to give a wide variety. I'm afraid that RTS would bring up a whole lot of MOO, WC & SC.

That's what I'm thinking. Not for the same reasons, but still...

I think you need to stop posting suggestive lists, SE. This is a family friendly site (well, except for Gemm).

I don't know, Sprig is kind of risqué at times too.

I am nothing if not a flirt. OK, I changed my mind. Since the next staff pick is due on Halloween, I"m a) moving up the date to Wed, the 29th, so I can b) have a thematic topic: Horror Flicks (yes, I know we just did movies, but still). It's just kind of appropriate. I'll have it up for posting on Halloween, which moves us out of the regular schedule, but I'm unconventional like that.

What about thrillers, like Alfred Hitchock's movies?

What about movies we've never seen? Like "They Might Be Giants"?

Ok, I'll expand it to "scary movie" so it includes thrillers and horror. Please don't expand that to include stuff that makes you fear for the cultural status of America's children like The Power Rangers Movie. Just stuff that was intended to be scary for it's target demographic.

And no, you have to have seen the movie. And TMBG isn't a scary movie anyway. It's a comedy. And you should watch it you uncultured plebian.
