Magic's new look
« on: July 29, 2003, 04:42:16 PM »
Magic's next block, Mirrodin, will apparently have a very strong biotech element to it, kind of harkening back to the phyrexians (in look and feel, though not in story). Whether or not the strong sci-fi elements are appropriate for Magic, I find them to be most pleasing.

Curious. Looks like fun.  :D

After the Phyrexians and the artifact wars of Dominaria's ancient history, I'm not really surprised to see them pulling something like this. It isn't like Ashnod's Transmorgant hasn't been around for forever.

The card is allowed 48 hours to summon him so I've still got time.

Y'know, here's a couple of points.

1) if you forget to say something, you can click "modify post" instead of posting again. That annoys people less.

2) Entropy is indeed in bed. It was around the time he normally goes to bed, and he disappered off Instant Messanger. Since SaintEhlers talks to him on IM I think I'll believe that he is in fact in bed.

3) No-one said you were in bed.

4) I never realised I wasn't in bed. Thanks for letting me know, now I understand why I kept reaching for my blanket and not finding it. <Sarcasm>

5) The world is roughly spherical.  Thanks to this and the workings of astrophysics, it is a different time and date at different parts of the world. So, although it may be nearly two pm. in the afternoon on 2 June where I am, my friends from the United States of America will find it is late at night or something, on the 1st of June. This does not mean that be visiting the USA you can change the past, just to let you know.

6) Please use correct grammer and punctuation, to reiterate.

7) Please stop upsetting me.

Don't make me stamp on your neck. That would be an unfortunate thing, since it would result in the buildup of organic material on the bottom of my shoes, and this is a thing I try to avoid.

It briefly occurs to me that you might find it unpleasant as well, but frankly my interest in your state of mind is somewhat less than my interest in the current state of the geo-political ramifications of welsh farmers shooting their sheep.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

Just to make sure you understand. Entropy cares almost nothing about the geo-political ramifications of Welsh farmers shooting their sheep.

All though he (Entropy) does enjoy shooting sheep, heck he enjoys shooting anything that moves.
