SS2 is the best FPS game ever made and haveing played it I refuse to play any other FPS, becuase I don't want any other second rate game (read: every other FPS game beside the 2 system shocks that will ever be made) spoiling the taste of what a perfect FPS game is.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

Specially games like half-life, Vietcong etc. Yukk,Yukk. SS2 was the only real FPS- and yes it was better than banana gun orgy(read Postal2).

Serious Sam, and it's sequel. Completely different in style, execution, gameplay, and purpose from the System Shock games--you practically can't even compare them.

Uh. SS2 was a rather poor shooter, but an excellent RPG. So, yeah. Foolish spriggo.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

Personally I don't even think of Shock as a FPS at all. Sure the interface handled like one on the surface, but the play elements were all entirely different. A blend of RPG and FPS maybe, but not a FPS.

(Yes, I did mention it in conjunction with first person shooters, but the comment wasn't to equate it with them. I was going for scary-scale.)
