honestly the best day for me would be this thursday or saturday, but I'm still willing to play on play wensday.  But don't push back your playtime just so I can start with the rest of you.  I can allwayse jump in later.
Screw it, I'm buying crayons and paper. I can imagineer my own adventures! Wheeee!

Well, the later we start the better for me. Timezones are wierd. I vote for 1am onwards, on wednesday, Mr P's time.  That would equate to midnight Spriggo time, and 7am my time. * If Promethius wants to join in, thats groovy. 4 players makes for a balanced group after all. What modules and classes do people want to try? I am all in favour of the dreamcatcher series - 2 sets of 5 modules. And i make the perfect fighter, with my total lack of mental ability and bloody mindedness.

*Spriggan is an hour behind Mr P, and i am 7 hours ahead of spriggan.

thief/ranger is my fave in NWN.  It's uber powergamer since NWN dosne't follow the D20 ranged sneak attack rules.

Oh and I demand that Entropy makes us an adventure!

I like fighter a lot better than ranger because you get more feats. Feats are what it's all about.

no you don't get more feats or no it's not where it's at?

the first part, yeah, they do get more feats. the second part: you could argue skills (specifically diplomacy, search, open lock, and disarm traps), but for combat, a really tight and calculated selection of feats can make a HUGE difference. Which is why I do the fighter/rogue combo. Get so I can take 20 to get a 28-30 result in the above skills, then do a lot of two-weapon/improved crit/weapon focus/specialization in my chosen weapons.

Usually I have a few left over to get some feats for that bow too. Then I can lay some smack down and just change over to my swords when they get close (yeah, I suppose that I could get the feats to stay with the bow, but the high level fighter 2 weapon combo gets so many more attacks)

feats aren't all that usefull in NWN.  Being able to hit a creature at the oppsoite end of the screen for over 30 points of damage is so much better.

feh, I can do that with my fighter. And then when the dragon advances (or more likely, a crowd of ogres, giants or leveled humanoids) and gets to me, I can rip it/them up in a round.

I'll have you know that my level 8 fighter, level 10 weapon master who specialises in the Katana is sickenly good. He has taken down his first beholder in 3 hits. IE, one round.

I still haven't seen any time for the meeting being mentioned. Additionally, should we be planning on bringing our own characters previously leveled or new ones?

I imagine the server could be named TWG. I'd recommend it be made for the Solo channel as that one isn't heavily used.

I know this is off subject, but Prometheus isn't reading other threads. AORP started back up, kid. Galford's sitting round picking his nose while Gareth leads them in an assault against the Prussians or something.

Midnight Utah time, this thursday. Although i am having wierd trouble - my ping times have tripled for no apparent reason. Level 1 characters playing the shadow lords and dreamcatcher modules is the current plan i think, but Spriggan found a module where it was full of wandering monsters and you could affect the eco system by killing them.

I'm pulling out, on account of not knowing wtf is going on. And my ping has been through the roof for several days now, for unknown reasons. I feel like the engineers from star trek, only i cant simply press lots of buttons and solve it that way.

Next week. I want to have, like, a list of who is coming and stuff.
