Rifts at E3

Direct from the latest Palladium press release:

"A big, mass market license for Rifts® will be announced at the Electronics Entertainment Expo (also known as E3) this May. Until then, Palladium Books has to keep quiet. Just whetting your appetites until hard information is available."

It's anyone's guess what this is going to be, but my prediction is that it will be a cross-media tie-in game to coincide with the Rifts movie. Best case scenario: Bioware does a Rifts RPG. Worst case scenario: someone we've never heard of does a Rifts MMOG. And there's plenty of stuff in between--it might be an RTS, or it might even be a CGI preview of the movie (which probably won't be CGI, but you never know).

Depending on what the movie covers from Rifts, it might be a mech warrior style game.  I have a feeling it's going to be just a standard action game or FPS though.
