City of Heroes

I finally broke down and got this game, and it's as cool as I'd hoped. The character creation engine is freaking amazing (though it doesn't do frog heads), and the gameplay itself is the most user-friendly MMOG I've ever seen. Even at first level you feel like you're cool and powerful, and the city and the mission system is really well-done. If I can figure out how to upload pictures onto the site post-"file manager," I'll show you some cool screenshots.

It's really too bad that I didn't specifically reference yesterday's entry to the blog, because to date, it's the most insightful. Sure, it's not directly about the game, but it is about the gaming experience. You'd get the same things in any MMORPG. very curious. I'd never thought of a female character as a method for actually learning about the other gender. of course, a lot of that is because I don't play MMORPGs, but that's what role playing is about: learning about other roles. Pretty cool.

Also, today's entry is up too. YOu criticize that feature, girl! er.. boy! er... Frog!

As long as we're talking about the character generator specifically, could we get some screens of other Fellfrosch characters? UXB is cool, but she's very, very blue.

Yeah, I was going to address that in teh blog for all the world to see, but I forgot. I play on Triumph, just because it was the least busy when I started to I figured it would be low on lag. It generally has been. If you play, Entropy, look me up sometime; you can start a new guy and I'll sidekick you.

So, i was bored. Thus, i used my credit card for the first time ever to re-activate my CoH account. Hooray and jubilations. Fell, i'll create a character on Triumph sometime today, but i demand you return the favour and create a character on Pinnacle at some point :)
