I don't have it either. And I'm not really planning on it anyways. Unless I can be some kind of photographer who works for the daily newspaper or something like that.

I have several complaints about the game, but I think there should have been secret identitys in the game (like Gemm's reporter) that basicly would let you do non-combat things in the game.  MMORPG's allwayse have other things to do to pass the time, this would have been a cool way to do that.

Anyway some thing's I don't like or am dissapointed in:

1) Classes.  They're too strict, I realy think a better way would allow you to choose one as a main power catagory and another as a sub and make those powers a little weaker (like FFXI).  I think it's realy stupid my scraper cannot have some type of ranged attack, even if it is weak.  Lots of times mobs just decide to run and you cannot attack them till they stop, I actualy, I kid you not, chased some mob around for about 5 mintues with my scrapper until the game let me attack him.  Also I think it's dumb my Tanker cannot use a sword, or carry a shield for that matter.

2) Objects.  I found it sad that they have a robust character costume creating mechanism yet let left out things you could hold, or backpacks.  My defender can control the weather, I think it would be cool of I could hold an object that is the actualy weather controller.  Right now you can pretend, which is fine, that you're useing something like that, but it's not the same as haveing characters holding things.  I also don't like that if you do use a weapon you cannot choose what that weapon looks like.  Everyone has the same gun, sword, axe, ect.  You can't even change the colors.  Also they need more sholder options, the ones in game now are lacking.

3) Super heros?  I don't feel like a super hero, they're trying to add some type of story lines to the game but they're so minor and non-existant it's sad.  Also I wish there were puzzle/problem solveing for the game.  Like you get a quest to stop a robery but you don't know where it's going to be.  The game gives you serveral random choices and some clues and you have to figure out which building it's going to be at, and if you goto the wrong one you fail the missoin.  Maby you could set the difficulty in the options for these type of things.  And are there no random quests in the game?  I like the contact system but they need to add more, there should be certain events, or villans you kill that start random quest lines.

Cryptic has a long way to go to actauly impress me in anyway, if I was to score the game it would be 4/6 clocks, maybe 4.5/6 if the game gets any better for higher levels (which I doubt).  But I find everything to restrictive and rehashed.  Just a note, I'd give WoW the same score (leaning more on a 4.5 for that game).

It gets better as you go up you know. More story arcs. And um, you do get ranged attacks. Try paying attention to my scrapper next time i'm fighting, I thought the whole railgun sound and white line thing was obvious. And the classes work. They make it easy for people to make teams since you know you need a fairly even spread of the classes.
If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

And I prefer the game without moronic crafting skills in it. My idea of fun does not involve spending hours hitting the 'make item' button. Crafting skills are just timesinks.

1) I have no sound on my laptop (sc is busted).

2) They don't have to be crafting, actauly crafting would be a dumb idea in for this game since there's no items or equipment.  Though something like a casino, no tights allowed, would allow people to have some kinds of cash sink besides costumes.

Just so you don't think I hate the game, which i don't, I thought I'd list a few thing I like a lot.

1) that the city, well, looks and feels like a city.  Not only is it populated with lots of NPC's, but all the cars driveing (though there should be rush hour traffic jams some where), distincetive districts.  I allwayse hate games where you are in the city and there are like 20 NPC's, yet the population is supposed to be in the thousands or more.

2) How well the character classes actualy mimic comic book archtypes, you see lots of people in the game and think "Ya, I could see a comic book about that person." (I'm suprised Fell hasn't made an UBX comic useing screenshots).

3) the cheesy dialouge between NPC's and your characters (it the mobs).  I like running past a group of gang members and they're instructing the weaker members on how to fight, or chatting about other things.

k, so here is my next character, you saw him at the rave in the second picture set.  So far I think this is my best costume/character design.  So here's Blaze Scorpio in all his awsomness.

http://www.monkeyslothstudio.com/coh/coh8.jpg

he's a duel fire tanker (ie both power sets are fire)

http://www.monkeyslothstudio.com/coh/coh9.jpg

here he is lighting up a bad guy who was trying to steal the wrong car (a super hero's got to have wheels, and what's better then a red Corvette?).

http://www.monkeyslothstudio.com/coh/coh10.jpg

And lastly montering the status of his pizza order at his computer, just ignore the Nazi death corp symbol there, you can't expect a super hero to be able to afford nice stuff on their salery (nothing), so Scorp releaved it from some people he pummled.

Ok, first, not sure if this has been covered, but are we ever going to see some screens of the interface? I know they are most likely everywhere, but lets see yours.

Secondly, Spriggan. What in the unholiest of all circumstances are you saying here: "distincetive districts"??? I am baffled.

There is no interface Gemm, it's all done by brainwaves.

Yes, so. I certainly understand everything but what about those who don't? What shall you tell them? The hopeless fools who can't help but wonder what is meant?!

I have to say I'm enjoying my Tanker, Scorp, a lot, maybe more then I should.  I love how I can just run into a group of mobs higher level then me and burn them all into a crisp.  Being duel fire speck makes me do lots of damage, though not have as much defence as other tankers, and I've even managed to out damage Scrappers my level on several occasions and I have better defence then them.  The thing I don't like about his is there's a seveare lack of stragety/challenge in playing him.  It's allwayse the same 3 buttion pressed in the same order.

I enjoy the challenge of my defender a lot, yet have trouble soloing.  If I had more energy I could easy tank almost as well as Scorp, yet Kea's powers drain her power too fast and even haveing lots of insperations dosen't help much since I have to go restock after every fight (if there's more then 2-3 people).   Sad thing is, besides Ent and Fell sidekicking me, I have yet to get my defender into a group.  Yet my Tanker gets spam invites for teams, and he's the one that can solo realy fast.  I think I'm going to try and get lots of pool powers with her, I have the 2 psychic ones I want so I can max wind and still have enough to get flight, phaseing, leaderships and some of the low levels of the other catagories.

I like blasters too, yet I haven't come up with a cool design yet.  I want to do a robot with a tommygun, yet I don't care much for the robotic costume parts.  I like the bare, frame only arms and wish there were legs like that and maybe a more hollow chest.

My scrapper feels like a weaker version of my tank, he's a spike/invulnerbility combo so can take damage, he does about the same damge (he misses more then the tank for some reason, and ya I've got acc enhancements for both, but does more if he hits) and takes more.

Don't think I'm going to try a controller anytime soon since I want to actualy get these guys to 10, though I am looking forward to seeing how the shapeshifting class will work once the next update goes live.

You might be missing more as a Spines scrapper because Spines is mostly about AOE damage. Its not very good against single targets. But at the higher levels, Spines can be very effective indeed.

For Single target, you want Claws, Katana or Broadsword. Dark Melee is an effective in-between, and is a very situational power-set.

Oh, and a Fire/Fire tanker is one of the best characters in the game, in terms of ease of soloing - fire is the most well-thought out power set at the moment, no matter the class. As a scrapper, let me just say - Get Provoke!

I have taunt Jack, but it's soo hard to allwayse be switching between targets, so ya I think Provoke would be a better power.  I think it's strange that the AOE taunt is a pool power and not availible to Tankers as part of their normal power set

So Scorp hit 10 today (didn't take long, after grouping with Fell I was about 3/4 the way done), and to celebrate I made a supergroup.  Not becasue I exepect anyone to join, nor am I going to recruit, but because I wanted a second costume option.

So here you have it, the League of Extraordinary Time-Wasters!  Also there's a shot of the interface for Gemm.

and for fun, senseless disctruction with Fell (he's flying behind me in this pic so not in the shot):
