Heh. Hooray for TGK.

I glanced at the pictures in the latest blog, then made the character. After I made him, I looked back and realised that, apart from the head, hair, colour of chest symbol and boots, they are identical. Har.

I made him a scrapper, with the power of broadsword and with Invulnerability. The last one only really seems appropriate in relation to sanity, but never mind. I was tempted to make him an Illusion controller, but decided that with Cadamis a controller, and Sir Carl most likely a blaster (certainly, that music could kill) that a scrapper would make the AORP team more robust.

I've toyed with making a Shae. There are no transformation powers, which is sad, but her powers would translate well to a mind control/empathy character. That or illusion/empathy. Come to think of it, Cadamis probably should have been mind control/kinetics, what with the way he liked to throw around mind blasts. Ah well.

EDIT: Ha, love the pics! Also, at his heart TGK was a tanker, but scrapper works too. SE and I were the ones that gave him the psionic history. I don't know that EUOL, who created him, ever got into that part of the character very much.

so we're seeing a new class option, i think. Let's all write to CoH and have them make an expansion class: transfromer. What (s)he transforms into dictates the abilities. You could have multiple forms (or only 1, if that's what balance took). If you turned into an elephant, you'd take on Tanker abilities. If you turned into a tiger, you'd be a scrapper, and so on. so you could potentially have access to a lot of different powers, but you'd only have access to them as the different creatures.

Interestingly, that's what World of Warcraft is doing with the Druid. I hear from beta testers that it isn't working very well though. With CoH, though, many of the class abilities borrow from other classes, so it may be more feasible there.

Good luck getting the developers to add it.

So, if any of you are bored, I found this CoH thread VERY amusing. It's a list of people's favorite odd activities within the game.

Ah... playing dress up...

Ok, I have to vote for the circuits, but ditch the mask. That would be perfect. *nod*

I don't like the purple skin tone. Not that I have anything against people with purple skin, it just doesn't fit UXB very well.

I like the first one best myself. Don't like the legs on the third one.

And Fell, you have to pay the costs I mentioned for your new one as well. It's just a modification of your old costume, in a new slot. So expect to pay around 80 - 100 thousand influence for both costumes.

Yeah, I know. That's why it would be so dang expensive. Does the price vary depending on how much you change?

I'm more inclined to agree with SE at this point than Entropy, because I quite like the legs, though I admit that the first is, in fact, quite cool. SE, you recommend ditching the mask. You want to ditch it altogether? Or replace it with the Nightwing mask? Or replace it with some other mask? Or give her a tiara of some kind to balance the face? There's a lot of ways to go here, and frankly I'm disgusted with myself for caring this much. But I do anyway.

I'm thinking ditching it altogether. You've had a couple good screen shots without it. I like her without.

Whatever you do, don't use the same mask in that screen shot of the circuits.

Of course, what's really odd, is she looks more innocent, girl-next-doorish with her current mask on. Maybe they're like glasses. Maybe that's what you need. Give her glasses.

I agree with Ehlers -- cut the mask.  Also, can you get some screenshots with lighter backgrounds?

MMm....UXB with glasses...SE, you said that just to taunt me, didn't you?

Meanwhile, I like the second costume best, though the Hi-tech one looks most excellent too, and probably suits UXB better.

You know, JP, your opinions would carry a lot more weight if they were accompanied by flowers or chocolate.
