Game night or not, I'll vote for some kind of gathering Halloween weekend, because I'm going to be in Provo. But as you all know, I'm not much of a gamer, though I'm up for trying. Just never have played most things--board games and Settlers are about it.

We should definitely do some kind of Halloween party, though it will have to be separate from our Skar party (dang! more parties!). I have a great halloween board game that everyone will enjoy, gamer or otherwise, though it only has six people max. We can mix it in with other things.

By the way, Stacer, I love your sig. You're a shimmering star in the forum firmament.

OK, Skar and I have discussed scheduling and we've determined the following. Unfortunately, Skar and I are easily the hardest locals to coordinate given that we have families and live far away from everyone else, so these dates are kind of funky.

Oct 15: Game Day/Night in Provo

Oct 23: Food Night at Buca in SLC

I regret that these plans don't include Halloween weekend, because that means they don't include Stacer, but Halloween weekend is pretty tough for both Skar and I. That doesn't stop you from having your own Provo party that weekend without us.

If necessary we could maybe do Buca on Friday the 29th. I'd really like to do the game night closer to Halloween but I can't think of any way to work it out. Suggestions are welcome; let me know what you guys think.

Hale Theater in West Valley is doing this show soon.  I'm gonna have to work my theater connections to get tickets.

I'm out on the 15th.  We're counting wood that night.  But I'll be there on the 23rd.

I will lobby heavily for the 23rd, and drag my husaband along.  Make sure Morag is coming so I can prove J.T. exists.

When I say 15, what I really mean is 16. Saturday will probably give us more freedom than a late Friday night.

Sad.  :(

But I do still want to get together with whoever's in Provo one night that I'm there. I'll be dragging my old roommates along, too--cute single girls.  ;) Though I imagine Fiona's too tall for Tage. We don't really have a set schedule, so whatever night works best for you guys will probably work for us.

If Jam's coming, I'll not only work my schedule around it, I'll buy dinner.

This is where we discover that Jam is actually Tage, masquerading in disguise in the hopes of free meals.

Hmm....cost of airfare: $lots.

Cost of a meal: About twenty bucks.

Value of seeing Fell actually paying for dinner after he expected me to be joking for sure: Priceless.
