Spellforce 2:Shadow Wars
« on: August 21, 2006, 07:10:33 PM »
So I bought the game a couple of weeks ago. It is a strategy/rpg I've learned from reading, but I have yet to been able to play the game because of the lack of a quality video card on my laptop or my Dell desktop. I was wondering if anyone has played the game as of yet? And I'd like to know just how good it is so that I may hasten the process of getting a new video card! Haha thanks guys.

We reviewed the first Spellforce a couple of years ago: lots of potential, and some neat ideas, but not amazingly exciting. I have no experience with the new one.

I've got no experience with the new one, but I played the first Spellforce.
It had a really cool concept, and some really cool mechanics. My only complaint was the speed. It was so slow paced. Moving an army across the map took 10 minutes, it seemed. Other than that, it was cool.
