Fellfrosch's unborn child
« on: March 04, 2003, 10:37:50 AM »
So Fell's wife is going to give birth to a bouncing baby boy next month some time, and they still don't have a name picked out.  What are some good ideas?

I would like to propose that, in honor of the late Mister Rogers, the kid be named Cornflake S. Pecially.
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier.

You're a sick freak, Mustard.

I'm still lobbying for Benjamin Daniel Wells. Has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?

His nickname for the past 8 months has been Chigger. I say we just stick with that.

Don't forget to consider Eric John.

On that note, I have *another* girl due in 4 months. Name ideas for that?

Why, Stacy Lynn, of course!

I take that back. Narcissistic as I am, I like being unique. Besides, when I was a kid I always wanted my name to be something that could be shortened to a nickname (and no, Stace doesn't count). So I decided my real name should be Anastasia, because then you could shorten it to about 5 or 6 different nicknames. Ana, Anne (with an "e"), Anya, Stacy, Stacer, Stacia, etc. etc.

I did have a friend in college who used to call me Stasi (pronounced Shtahzi), after the German secret police. Sounds cool, but I don't know if I like the connection...

I met a girl in college named Anastasia, who's nickname was Nastia. I always thought that was cool.

I think I'll stay away from "Nastia." Though Anastasia goes with my idea of Katya.

Congrats on the new daughter, by the way. Are we going to place bets on how many it will take before you have a boy?

Welll er...
I dunno

My uncle's fourth was his first (only) boy, and his twin was a girl.

Then there's my other uncle, who had 5 girls before he had a son.

Aside from my immediate parents, girls seem to run in the family.
