Ignoring my religious sensibilities for a second, I still don't see how a hotel room is going to win my vote. It's pretty much buying my vote, and pretty cheaply.

That guy won't win. He'll get a lot of votes, but won't win. From my experience, people in Spain accept a lot of illicit behavior, but in the end they all want to appear as good Catholics.

I've also seen the park thing they're talking about and I'm glad we have enforced laws agaisnt that sort of thing in the US.
