So far everything runs on it.  But I still need to install Morrowind (I think EUOL has it), if my laptop can run Morrowind good then I can run just about anyhting out there.

Dude, you gotta get TRON 2.0. If you loved the movie(TRON) then I implore you to get this game. If you don't know what a TRON is, then get this game. For whatever reason, get this.

You're a user inside a computer and you get to do really cool things. Like overclock a really old system, or make a PDA do too many functions so it will help you, or take down a firewall. Its all good. Its all really good.

Tron 2.0 is just another bla FPS Gemm.  True the multiplayer has other things that can be fun (from what I've heard) but a laptop dosen't give you as much controls as if you had a mouse (and I'm not buying one just for a game).  And I hate FPS games.

Seems to me a decent USB mouse is an inexpensive thing that would make a laptop much more usable for more than just a game.

Dude, you ain't knocking on my door are you? You best not, or else you will suffer the wrath of a sleeping dog, and this one likes to sleep.

Sure its an FPS, but a really damn good one. Better than Half-Life if I may. Half-Life was sort of bland to me, nothing totally stellar.

And TRON 2.0 is even more fun than JK2.

And Spriggan, you best watch it. I know how to beat firewalls, search the net, destroy or make corrupt data, and even take down a server. So you've got about 2-4 days before I forget how to do this.

Whats so great about a laptop? I see no reason for one, other than a large paperweight you can hit people with.

I have a laptop now, and to be honest, for regualr computing, (email, word processing and the like) its perfect. Not huge and loud, just fast enough to do what I need and more portable.

The Ibook I plan to get has all sorts of built in goodies plus super long battery life compared to my dell.

After having owned a laptop I would never just have a desktop or tower. I love the portability.

Need a portable DVD player and TV , laptop, need to jot down an important note or piece of writing before you forget it, laptop...

I will simply add that yes, Sprig is right--this laptop rocks.  Nice to have a father with connections....
