My Laptop!

My dad sent me and EUOL laptops they found in  storage at work and didn't need.  They're P4 1.9 GHTZ, 30 gig hardgrive, DVD player and Radion 7500 graphics card.

I'm intalling lots of things as I type this.

Not sure how many there were, but my dad did say that they were all gone.  This is like a $2,500 laptop (or it was last year when the company bought them).

I'm trying to find my Morrowind CD's so I can install that.

I had a very witty comment for you Spriggan, but then I looked over at the Dictionary and forgot it. But anywho, oops! Theres that thought, got it back.

My tastes are finer than a frenchman's wine. I go from genre to genre, jumping in and out like an old man with alzheimers. You cannot begin to imagine what it is like to be my brain. And I cannot imagine what it is like to be my mind. So take that for what you will.

Which reminds me, only a few more months before I'll order the parts for and build my new system, Ultrajam. I have a pretty good idea of what it will be...my hardest problem is choosing a case I like.

When I built squish, I confess I didn't care a whit about what the box looked like, though I got a decent one. Although with the removable panels I once talked to 42 about doing some sort of painting on them. I don't think he disagreed, but I never brought the panels to him or gave him a specific idea. I should try to find an art geek out here who would whip something up for me. Wonder if my friend Debbe is still in town...

Mainly I'm trying to compete with my friends, who all have nice case mods.  Leigh has altered cooling (using vacuum tubing) a self done window and a cold cathode (Plus an LED to light it up a bit more. Paul has a window and double cold cathodes. And Jai is getting a Thermaltake case. So I'll have to make sure to get something good with a window, and at least put a couple of cold cathodes in it.

My next project after that is strapping neons to the side of my speakers, and having them flash in time with the music...
