I'm not sure whether the idea of Tage being attracted to a disney character, or the idea of Gemm probably being the one impersonating one, is more unnerving

Probably is a weird fusion of the two.

I hope not. A weird fusion of those two ideas would result in Tage being attracted to Gemm, at which point the universe would collapse in onitself under the weight of it's inherent unbelievability. And we'd all be dead, or at least very crowded.

To quell your fears, I should point out that Belle does have an email address with a feminine name. Sure, someone could have made it up, but that seems like an awfu lot of work for old Gemm, considering how busy he is trying to write a novel (we hope).

I have to admit that I'm suspicious.  

But, if she is real, someone tell her which thread she can go to warp Tage's face.  How could she not fall for him after she's stretched his nose halfway across the screen a few times?

I'll tell you what. It isn't me. I have only half a mind, and half of that mind wouldn't even bother with such a thing. And I'm not that clever, or at least I wasn't. So no worries about your flightless universe collapsing in upon itself. I still think I'm the only one that can see this "Belle" though.

The easiest way is just for an admin to check the IP addresses. Those are logged, right? But then, that would remove the mystery from the situation.
