   Three cheers for modern technology.  Last night my wife ran my FlashDrive through the washing machine.  (It's my fault, really, because I was the one who left it in my pocket).  Anyway, after a good spin and rinse, it still works perfectly, and NONE of the information was lost!  Whoopee!

Congratulations!  That is quite impressive.  I once had a floppy disk go through the washer.  It was a bit messed up, but I was at least able to get the documents off of it, which was all that mattered.

I also have a cell phone that survived a two-story drop onto a concrete floor.  Now before I have kids I want to get one of those Army-quality laptops that are waterproof, dropproof and basically indestructible.
