Yes, slide 5 made me laugh out loud. And that is one seriously cool die. How different would Indiana Jones be if he were chasing ancient roleplaying paraphernalia instead of religious artifacts.

I got an email this morning reminding me that Roman dice are mentioned in the Bible. Roman guards threw dice to decide who got to keep Jesus’ clothes. That's pretty gruesome but may be the first recorded instance of determining a "looting order."

Certainly not the first... but one of the most recognizable. Interestingly theres a Psalm about the same subject that predates the new testament by almost 500 years.
