Heh.  No, far too tekie for me.  That seems more SE's path to taking over the world.  I'm more the "Sit in my lair while my undead hoards run amuck" type.

SE really doesn't give enough thought to linux to take over the world using it. To be honest, if I were to be an OS proselyter, I know my rebellious streak enough to know that I'd have to use a "pure" unix rather than Linux.

If you're ever in an argument and Entropy winds up looking staid and temperate in comparison, it might be time to cut your losses and start a new thread about something else :)

Wow. I could probably listen to that all day. But then, that may be partially due to the lack of sleep over the past few days.

Now this is something cool. It's an AI script that plays 20 questions with you. I've only gone through it once, but it got "orange." Check it out.

Now if only you can take that web-site with you on road trips.

I've played five times, it's gotten it every time except once. It couldn't get auqaduct, but it came close.

I tried "dice," but I answered all the questions from a roleplaying perspective. In addition to the normal stuff like being used for games, I said that dice can be used to obtain information and accomplish tasks, and I said that they can be found in an office (because I have several sitting here with me). The poor program didn't know what to do with itself, and gave me crazy answers like "a phone card" and "A CD-Rom."

They Fight Crime! is a random generator... it gave the following results

"He's a leather-clad neurotic dog-catcher looking for a cure to the poison coursing through his veins. She's a violent paranoid fairy princess who don't take no **** from nobody. They fight crime!"

"He's a world-famous small-town messiah gone bad. She's a provocative extravagent widow who dreams of becoming Elvis. They fight crime!"

"He's a maverick Republican inventor from the 'hood. She's a hard-bitten tomboy traffic cop on her way to prison for a murder she didn't commit. They fight crime!"
