Because I get one on my face that some people used to mistakenly think was a hickey. Yeah, like a boy (if there were one in my life) would give me a bright red hickey that spread three inches across from that gland on my throat, across my chin, up my face and the side of my nose, and across both eyelids.  :P

Yeah, if you've ever seen that rash, you'd know it wasn't a hickey. As far as I know, hickeys tend to be purple, like bruises, not flaky, like supersensitive dry skin. Not that I have leprosy or anything! And it's not nearly as bad nowadays as it once was. When I worked in Orem, a coworker said when he first saw me he thought I was a burn victim and was too polite to ask how it happened. Dry Utah air!
