E did a great write-up for Child's Play, but I would like to put a permanent blurb banner up for December. Anyone object or have comments?

do it, I've been wanting to do the same thing for weeks but have been so busy I forgot to bug SE about it.  I think banners on the main page are ok as long as they're for special causes like Child's play and the Red cross.

And Eric's too big fat and lazy to do it, or to admit that he just reformatted a letter that was forwarded to Fell originally.

But yeah, we did the Red Cross thing. I've got 0 problems doing the same for Child's Play.
