Uhm, Brunel would be one of my choices. Famous British engineer who built bridges, railroads, steam ships, and trains and buildings i think.

Another would be Alexander. Because he rules.

Winston Churchill, and Nelson for the warfare. Because, y'know, the whole world destroyed thing has to be *someones* fault. We just have to work out who.

Duke of orange was a smacktard when it came to politics. So no him.

Finally, Buddha.

:D

Well, if we can't have MacGyver since he's fictional, what about Bob Vila?

What about the two guys from MythBusters? They're like professional MacGyvers.

You know that Bob Vila really isn't that great of a craftsman, right? You've noticed that on his show he always hire out for anything difficult.

sorta like Martha Stewart. She should be one of the 5 too.

Right behind Timothy McVeigh.

Lieutenant George Washington Goethals, Walter Reed, Samual Clemons, Abe Lincoln and George Patton.

The First two are signifigant because Lt. General Goethals built most of the Panama Canal, Walter Reed discovered the cure to malaria, Samual Clemons is just darn funny, Abe because he's a great leader and Patton because I may need to kick a little butt.

Jacky Chan would be on my list.  I mean, those are some genes we need to preserve, right?  Plus, in the future world, he could teach people stage kung-fu as a form of self defense so that martial arts combat in real life finally looks as cool as it should.

Oh, and Richard Nixon--so we'd have someone to blame stuff on.

Yeah and you know what ... scrap Sam Clemons (mark twain) and replace him with Douglas Adams... because he'd find the whole situation ironic enough to write a book about it.
