Your dang icons
« on: April 20, 2004, 04:03:58 PM »
So, I check TWG at work somewhat regularly, but I have been doing so far less frequently lately for one simple reason: all of your dagnabbed dancing pictures (particularly SE's monkey).  My work doesn't mind if I occasionally surf the web, but several people have thought that, while I'm looking at the forum, I'm actually playing a video game. I've had to stop visiting.

So knock it off!
I got soul, but I'm not a soldier.

Well, I know I'm not that sorry. But you cannot not enjoy the spinning Homer. You can't tell me you haven't ever tried spinning on the ground as such. I have, and man oh man, is it a hoot.

The solution is simple. Turn off pictures on your browser.

You don't even have to do that.  If it is just the moving pictures click the wheel button in you mouse down and scroll like that, it prevents SE's and Gemm's pictures from moving as long as that little double arrow scroll picture is up...

Actually, once the page is loaded, just press the Stop button at the top.  This stops all the icons from moving.
